Peter
M'Kinney, World Champion 4 year old, in 1929. Driver and
trainer was Arlie Frost.
Beginning
in 1947, Fred T. Burgy served on the Green County Fair
Board longer than any other person. He held the office
of President for 14 years and was Vice President for 18
years adding up to 32 years.

Speed barns that were burned in 1986 to make room for
building 10.

Elm Disease.
With
his first term being in 1958, O.L. Hare served on the
Green County Fair Board for 15 years; 8 years as President,
2 years as Vice President, and 5 years as a Director.
He was a harness race horse owner and a Quarter Horse
judge.
